Nette South is an award winning artist with a strong focus on acrylic and water colour painting. Nette's art encompasses landscapes, still life, pen drawings and decorative boxes of all shapes and sizes.

All her life Nette South has enjoyed drawing, sketching and painting. However, it wasn't until after her family had grown up that she started to have lessons. Since this time Nette has continued with lessons in water colour and acrylic painting.

In the early days a group of artist friends got together to paint and called themselves "The Painted Ladies". They held exhibitions with success and it was a great learning experience for them all.

Nette is an exhibiting member of the Ku Ring Gai Art Society and the Lane Cove Art Society. She has also exhibited with well known artist Charlotte Thodey (one of her teachers) in the Royal Botanic Gradens.

Nette exhibited at the following local Exhibitions selling a total of 9 paintings.
